Let’s take a short break from grammar and have a quick look at some words related to feelings:
Anxious | worried and nervous |
Calm | quiet, not worried |
Disappointed | unhappy because of someone or something |
Excited | very happy and enthusiastic |
Exhausted | Extremely tired |
Guilty | sad because you’ve done something wrong |
Nervous | worried |
Pleased | Satisfied, quite happy |
Tense | worried and unable to relax |
Upset | worried, unhappy or angry |
These are some words you can use instead of just saying happy/sad/angry.
